@kcfan974 it's located at the top of that tower that looks like an ATC tower right?, (it's also a Sprint cell site)

@vieillevision the radar now uses a semi-sattelite imagery...sort of like intellicast now.

@6891man I live in Lincoln,Nebraska where this station is. This was from 1998.. This radar is the tv stations own radar that was located at the station at the time.

This radar looks too primitive to be from 1998. Are you sure you don't mean 1988?

I still have video from the early '80's when "10 11 strong" used to lead off the newscast with the weather! Linda Beerman, to be exact. I might post it someday.

@lincolnweather I'd love to see what their severe weather coverage looks like now. I have to figure the old Doppler display with the 3-letter IDs was eventually retired... or was it?
