@JesusSaviorChrist This is popular in Japan. There is a name for it, but I forget it. I tried suicide once, autumn '09. I took three bottles of sleeping pills, Unisom. I was sure this would kill me. But, someone found me and I ended up in the State Mental Hospital. I was sure that when I got out, I would buy a gun and do it right, like my friend and sister did. But, they won't sell me a gun because I was in the State Hospital. So, method is definitely and issue.

The individual in this video is full of BS. If he were seriously suicidal, he wouldn't let some political conceit get in his way of getting a loaded gun, putting it to his head, and pulling the trigger He is a crybaby seeking sympathy. Nothing more.

@akathaze Certainly don't wish to drink antifreeze (ethylene glycol). That would be a slow and painful way to expire.

I'm thinking one should shoot himself in the head whilst jumping high off a bridge into the water. If the bullet damage to the brain is non-fatal, it is almost guaranteed to render the subject unconscious, and he/she still would terminate via water/impact/drowning. No pain. Guaranteed death.
