They would have but they didn't feel the old Ben would have been able to act these new complex storylines. I would agree as well, the old Ben had really weak and laughable acting skills lol.

@computermaster lol theres alot more straight than gay people it's just more accepted now so more people are coming out but it doesnt mean the whole population is gay that's kinda stupid & theres alot of gay men that are masculine.

Our population is literally full of gay wankers- it's one thing I don't get why people feel so hurt being called a gay or wanker when it's true- if you are man enough don't be either and then it wouldn't hurt as much.

I think it's bad that they made Ben gay (although we all saw it coming). Ever since they introduced this ugly ass new actor, they've portrayed him as this really creepy, damaged individual. Making him gay is just going to give some people ammunition.

@chocchip332 It's a hearing aid. He had menigitis as a baby and was left partially deaf in one ear. He's always worn it but it's become less noticable over the years x
