@materialclassified God's prophetic timeline is very clear, however his second coming is based on other factors. i.e. he is long suffering. He will wait as long as he needs to, to do the work.
-
@materialclassified not sure how that applies.

By stating that this Feast is "YHWH’s renewed gift," God is connecting the elements which comprise His story for us. He is linking the Miqra’ey with the Ekklesia, the Old Covenant with the Renewed Covenant, Yahuweh with Yahushua, and the Torah with Grace. He has obliterated the myth that there is a distinction, a difference between His prescriptions for living in the Torah and grace-based salvation. Yahushua came to fulfill the Scriptures, because they provide the path to paradise.

The timing was important, as it is throughout Scripture, which is why I am dismayed by Christians who dismiss the vociferous detailed accounting concerning God’s prophetic timeline with a flippant, thoughtless, out of context, and poorly translated "no one knows the hour." God said accurately count seven Sabbaths from the day after the special Sabbath of Unleavened Bread, and from the wave offering on the Called-Out Assembly of FirstFruits.

@jumanous Well some man had to judge Paul so to canonize his letters into scripture, right? Are these men above you or I? I question everything. You said without Paul, no Pentecost..paraphasing.
"Accurately count (saphar - reckon, record, relate, rehearse, and regale) from the day after the Shabat, from the day you came forth and bore the sheaf of grain as an ascending wave offering, a total of seven(sheba’ - a sworn oath) complete Sabbaths." (Leviticus 23:15)

@materialclassified Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
all of Paul's doctrine can be found in the rest of the bible very clearly. At the end of the day who am I to judge Paul. Even without Paul's letters, nothing of my doctrine would change, it would just take longer to figure it out. Without Paul's work, there would have been no Pentecost, and the church wouldn't have made it off the ground.

@jumanous And the names of these two that supposedly were with this Paul? Or better yet, howcome you are not muslim? Didn't Muhammed also receive a message from a light in a cave or maybe Joseph Smith even.
So let's all bow down at the alter of a man that could not kill followers of, "The Way" fast enough physically, so he killed em spiritually. I'm sick of how christians build their religion off a guys words that never saw the Messiah. And rebuked the Messiahs number one (Peter) to his face.

@materialclassified what does it mean to abolish the law in the flesh. The law cannot be changed, therefore clearly this means stopping sinning. The law couldn't do that, we required the Holy Spirit to overtake our minds so we are capable stopping sinning... as we can't stop sinning without a perfect connection to the holy spirit like Christ had.

@materialclassified They heard a voice, but did they understand? Clearly no. So there is no inconsistency in that part. Also, nowhere does it state that they saw a person, however it does state they saw a light. So they did see and hear, however they didn't understand and didn't see people. Seems pretty clear to me. Sounds to me like you grasping at straws as atheists do when they try to find contradictions in the first meetings of the resurrected Christ.

I invite you to read questioningpaul(dot)com
Narrow is the way! Christians think they have it. Judaism thinks they have it. Muslims think they have it. What if Yahuwah hates all religion?
The covenants can be a complicated subject, but Paul Godfrey simplifies it beautifully, and exalts Christ. Thank you for this video.
