I agree..it is not about race..it is nationality! I am black but that does not give me any rights in African countries.. I am a Bahamian a full one at that..haitians belong in Haiti

it funny because we have over million hatian living in Dominican republic and we are a poor country with very little resource, Haitian get deported Dominican are racist they play that card a lot, I want to see which other country can take in one million Haitian and not start deporting people out of their country,

only God can dry the constant tears of the haitien people, and solve their problems. no matter where they go, they get treated like animals. haitiens goes thru one terrible thing after another, almost like a plauge. but there's no other nation with such strong heart like the haitien people. no matter how many times they get knocked down, they always get back up showing their resilient and tenacity from the time of slavery until now.

I see your point, but I do not care if Haitians were blue pink or black. We do not want them here because of their skin colour, we are just protecting the little that we have. The constant influx of illegal immigrants is a strain on our government and we have to look out for ourselves. Simple.

THANK U SO MUCH! U ARE SO SMART! that is the point i am trying to make..it is not about them being black, people need to look up the word racist so that they can know what it means! I do not like illegal persons in my country whether they are from Lebanon or w/e.

But I would hate to see my African brothers look down on you b/c u are Bahamian.I know Bahamas is small and Haitians have a large population. I can see the threat. But at the same time that does not excuse the black on black prejudice. Its like black Americans hating foreign blacks. We might pose a threat to them but they are still a part of us.Sometimes I want to hate them but I resist. Infact a Haitian friend said it very well he said "They dont know, we have to forgive them" HAVE EMPATHY.

limited but we are not. In the Caribbean as well as in Africa we doubt ourselves too much. In the Caribbean I feel blacks always look at themselves through a western lense, therefore you have too many colour issues.Hence the Haitian Dominican problems.Alot of Haitians have a fresh African look. To other Caribbeans you are just too black all what they have been taught to dislike.Haiti has perhaps the richest history of Caribbean nations but it is all forgotten b/c you are poor.

There are problems in many countries all over the world, black, white,hispanic, Indian, chinese,etc. Travel to some parts of India,or East Asia you will find similar problems you find in black countries. Some may have large pockets of development but as a whole the people suffer the same problems. It is not a black thing. It is a colonial thing.
