@Sytrusze Hte iMacs these days are pretty astounding. I use an 8-core simply because I use so many 3rd party plugins, but the i7 chip is just incredible. Honestly, I'd say a tower is still better for super heavy production using 3rd party plugs, but if you are using less 3rd party plugins, and they are 64 bit, and you don't need quite as much RAM, get the iMac. Honestly. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think it's actually true.

Yeah, I'm figuring some things out when it comes to YouTube. There's already a ton of tutorial content. I'm thinking of either interviewing my ridiculously awesome friends and mentors... maybe explain analogies like the compression one. Maybe try to show some behind the scenes footage in the studio... I'm still working it out. I took a vacation, promptly got the flu, and then cranked a bunch of videos out for this next month. I'll figure things out. I'm still answering tons of questions online!

i got the folders workflow video on mpv. great, and very funny as well!! ill be making many uses of these techniques. a question regarding folders. I set up groups of tracks into folders, and I also created one folder with every track in the project, so that i could see my full project in one window. To my dismay, when i recorded into the group folders, the regions werent represented in my "master" arrange folder! is there any way to have the same regions in 2 folders??? dealbreaker for me!

***I especiallu wanted enlighten you and other midi users how important faster multiport midi interface availability is now. USB interfaces have to compete with other usb devices for bandwidth, resulting in poor midi performance. Firewire multi-port midi is way better, but people just don't know because they have not tried or compared this.I am using VAST Programmer, many midi synths and controllers, and Logic 9.

Just wanted to thank you for a great tutorial on producing with folders, really opened up my eyes. The good thing about watching these sets of tutorials is that you get in depth. I don't care if I have to pay a few $ to learn as long as you keep given us a discount ;)
