Ancient game I played as a wee tod of only fwee years old: Castle Hexagon!

Written in BASIC by Stan Ockers.

By sheer chance, when I took the Book of Known at the end I also happened to be holding the correct item for that room. This cued an unlikely bug: The game merely plays the music for placing the correct item instead of going to the ending. I end the game by going to *another* room and putting down/picking up the Book again.

  • @Scoth3 Haven't play it in many years. Fired it up on the emulator out of a desire for nostalgia & decided to make a vid while I was at it... good practise for the Biffdrop one I made next. Thanks for posting the other Atari vids. If you can complete Escape From Epsilon on the hardest difficulty that'd really be something (from memory, anyway!)

  • Wow. I was just working on capturing a video of this myself. I can't believe someone else played this obscure gem other than me. I guess I've actually never beaten it as I always tended to run into the bug with the book. I didn't realize it actually ended, per se.
