Playing Pool / 8-Ball At On-The-Run - Sakumono, Ghana

This clip shows the local Australia v Ghana pool/8-ball match between myself (representing Australia), and my host & friend, Eli (representing Ghana), played at the Total filling station (an On-The-Run outlet) at Sakumono, in eastern Accra, in January 2007.

We set up our camera to film while we played (I tied it down with the strap so no one could do a runner with it before we beat them up !), and got some good footage while we enjoyed a good match, and I had myself a burger from the Chicken Inn outlet inside.

Australia won a fairly casual encounter, for the record !


These tables were removed by the time I arrived for my next trip in early 2008, from my understanding, there were issues with the noise from the music and/or the crowd at night, so the owners told these guys they had to go.
