Thats so cool! I'm guessing that it's not a vacuum operation because the car is not running. You should replace the headlights with 50. machine guns, and see if they would use it in James Bond.

There's a lever on the center console, it's completely mechanical and isn't really easy to move (WD-40 might help.) There's a joke about Opel GT owners having giant right arms as a result of having to use the lever.
