Why do Republicans blame Democrats and liberals?

I know liberal philosophy leads to socialism, which is the exact opposite of which our country was founded upon: capitalism, but despite the fact that most Democrats support this ideaology, why do conservatives and Republicans blame Democrats and liberals for all the problems in America when it has been a Republican president, Republican house and Republican senate. I support Ron Paul who is a Republican, but I hate this blame game that most Bush supporters are playing. They need to admit that this time, it ISN'T the Democrats fault.

So please, please tell me.

I'm a libertarian and I believe that we shouldn't have the government take away our guns and we shouldn't have an income tax. As for gays getting married quite frankly I don't give a damn because it doesn't effect me, and I want to worry about our own national soverignty, not the soverignty of other nations.
