PJ Harvey - 1995 Interview Part 1 of 2 - "It's Fabulous"

Great interview from 1995 featured on the independent program called "JBTV". The host is a bit of a dork, but he means well. This interview provides us with a peak into her mindset around the time of the TBYML album.

Btw, if any of you recall seeing her in that picture where she is posing outdoors, straddling a stop sign, well, I'm thinking that the photo shoot must have taken place on the same day as this interview.

@stojadinovicdushan He's alright. Maybe because I'm just used to his personality, having seen his underground-ish little music show off and on for many years. He's always been kind of unpolished and dorky-geeky enthusiastic as a "host" - he pretty much acts that way for all guests, men and women alike. I don't he went on to stalk her or anything, lol.

The host is Jerry Bryant of JBTV in Chicago. And in 2011, he's still rockin' with his independent show which is now being aired on NBC2 here in the windy city. His show has helped launch countless bands coming thru Chicago on their first tour of America. Not to mention a gaggle of local talent looking for their first TV lensing.

@Dawn554 that's just the same as it is everywhere though esp. here in the UK, mainstream music tends to be manufactured to suit a specific target audience in order to get their cash. If you want to hear good music you have to go look for it, it's not just like putting on a t-shirt you feel like wearing on that particular day. U gota BE it, which is also why it's exclusive...cos most people can't be bothered :D

@Dawn554 Ha thanks, no I don't think she is. To be fair she'd just walked off the NME stage at Glasto '93 & probably didn't require the well-intentioned approval of a young, brain-damaged roadie! I'm sure she's lovely, not slebby at all. She at least looked at me for a few moments...before walking away lol
