Stop the Canada-Colombia Trade Deal

A talk by Laura Carlsen (following one in Spanish by Senator Robledo of Colombia) on why a proposed Canada-Colombia Trade Deal should be stopped until the human rights situation in Colombia is dealt with.
Laura Carlsen is the Director, Americas Policy Program for the Center for International Policy. She was in Ottawa on March 24, 25, 2009 to participate in a Policy Roundtable titled "What Role for Canada in the Americas? Meeting the Challenge of Human Rights, Democratic Development and Economic Justice in a Time of Global Crisis". The roundtable was organized by CCIC's Americas Policy Group
