  • Mangroves have been used in conjunction with wood and recycled plastic bottles to create the foundation for Spiral Island. The roots from the mangrove tree grow around the foundation causing everything to weave together. Eventually the area under such a structure creates a habitat where marine animals can grow and thrive.
