Protesters outside the New Orleans City Council meeting get violent when denied entry and are pepper sprayed and tased. About 200 people were already in the meeting room, which is nearly capacity. Although sometimes standing room is permitted, it was not permitted this time after a fight in the council meeting itself.

  • your are ignorant, and have no clue what your talking about, the projects are just breeding grounds for crime and lazy people who do nothing but collect welfare and so on. These areas need to go because its what makes our city looked upon as trashy and ghetto, and thats exactly what it makes everyone look like. Maybe this will get people to get out and look for jobs and appartments. But thats a pipe dream, those "animals" that live there have no means of bettering themselves.

  • Obviously we need real leaders.

  • 2:25 "Brutalized by the police?" Yeah, that pepper spray and taser really brutalized you, douche bag. No bleeding, no marks, no hospitalization - me thinks you're too stupid to understand the meaning of "brutalized."

  • All public housing must be torn down. All it does is bring crime and drugs to a neighborhood. I'm sick of seeing all of these welfare moms with their drug dealer boyfriends roaming my neighborhood.

  • Hi. I live in Houston. Will you guys in Orleans please take back your nigs? We dont want them.

  • ....well as long as they are trying to move forward and get ahead, and improve their lives....

  • No to the demolition because all those low lifes will more likley end up in Houston like half of those people did for the hurricane. They cant even act normal in any situaltion! As you can see!

  • Poverty is hard to break - I know, because I did it. I care about what happens to poor people, so I created low-income-resources to help anyone that needs it.
