Middletown woman stabbed by teenager

MIDDLETOWN — A Tuesday evening fight on the back porch of an Academy Avenue house ended with one girl in the Horton campus of Orange Regional Medical Center after apparently being stabbed and another girl arrested on felony assault charges.
Javona Littles, 16, was being held at police headquarters Tuesday night. Littles grandmother, Maria Santiago, was visiting her granddaughter at the time of the fight. She said Littles and the victim had engaged in a verbal argument the day before and the victim came to Littles home on Academy Avenue with several people and a fight ensued. Santiago said she was knocked down during the fight. Police were still investigating the incident Tuesday night. The victims condition could not be learned.
