I think its great that we are makin a stand. Its time that more people were educated about this awful illness. I am 28 years old and i have pots. I have been told by many doctors that it is just all in my head and that its just stress. but this is a reeal thing and we need to push this so others dont have to go through what we went through. I have told have posted this on my face book page and told my friends about it so i hope i can get alot of people to sign. god bless!!
I signed the petition because I too, have a form of Dysautonomia. Mine is called Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome/Dysautonomia and it is most definitely very debilitating and in fact, this is one of the reasons I had to retire on disability six years ago at the age of 48. There are so few doctors who are aware of or have even heard of Dysautonomia. Thanks for bringing this to the attention of the public and hopefully the media.
Thank you for telling everyone on youtube about the petition, I am so glad I was able to sign! And thank you for making your videos, really, they have helped me a lot and actually inspired me to give a speech about POTS for my speech class. I never really tell anyone about my illness, so I was kind of scared to give the speech, but seeing this made me realize it is time people know about POTS! And I'm glad I was able to spread awareness, even if it was just to a few people in my classroom :)
