angels77100, you're talking complete shit and you know it. it's people like you who incite hatred and cause conflict. you obviously aren't very well educated on the facts of the subject matter, so why embarrass yourself by making stupid and misguided remarks? and to make out that catholics in the north are innocent while loyalists are wholly to blame is unforgivable! both sides are guilty of causing murder and mayhem in northern ireland - surely this fact isn't lost on you?

I have a grand idea. Northern Ireland is British, and the people want to stay British.  SO why not let them. You have the Republic, that is where all you Republicans should be. You are the real ones who cause all this trouble, not the Loyalists. They just want to stay with the UK. You have tried for nearly 100 years and still it is British, and it will stay that way. I dont undertsand why you Republicans think you know whats best for the people of NI, cause quite frankly, you don't.

@inkpotholder I don't necessarily agree with your anecdote. The Danes were eventually driven out of the British Isles, with the remaining settlers eventually being assimilated into the Native Culture. The same happened in Ireland, with many Danish settlers assuming Irish surnames and the native language.

Britain squandered any potential for ammicable relations in Ireland by developing a culture of marked divison. This mis-management spurred Nationalism and an Irish idendity.

Glad you agree. The terrorist IRA grew up in a British Nation, it was not taken away from them so they do not know anything of being ruled by a new country, they were taught their hatred. My Catholic friends who have grown up in our british nation of Northern Ireland do not harp on about days when generations before them 'owned'

@inkpotholder I know! The thought of another nation ruling over me is terrifying. A nation with a different political and religous system, a different culture. I would feel so alienated, perhaps even less valued. Most of all, threatened.

Police have ruined the peace in Northern Ireland by being soft on criminality, Police let scums bring havoc to the streets of Ulster . Police must slap the kids hard around the ear hole, this will teach them to behave themselves. I want paramilitary murals to be taken down immediately or i will lock up former prisoners for next 60 years in hard labour camp. No body wants to go back to war.
