Thick As A Brick (solo acoustic arrangement)

A solo guitar/vocal arrangement. I always felt this was a sort of cryptic anti war piece so i used this express my disillusionment with America and its never ending wars and bombing of innocent men,women and children. I suppose it wont stop until our sad little empire collapses. Which appears to be coming very soon.

Thanks 2stks. I actually did 3 full takes...a lot for a 22 minute fairly complex arrangement...and chose this take as it seemed to project the most energy. I did work quite a bit on dialing in the reverb till I wound up with this mix so Im glad you pointed it out. It does add to the character of the whole piece.

And yes...this America imperialism is getting quite old. Someone make it stop.

Wow, Jon, I really like this! Really nice arrangement, and I LOVE how it's drenched in reverb - it suits the arrangement. I imagine you'd agree it's not a flawless performance, but that's totally OK. You've inspired me to try and learn it myself. I've now got a lot of work to do! And you're right; it is unfortunate that we've got scum here in this country so willing to build and sell the tools of war -- of course, you need a war so that there's a market for it all! That sucks. Peace!
