  • U can get Transfers papers that work on inkjet printers (ebay). u print a design on the transfer paper (choose white or clear transfer paper. white is best I think as blanks are quite dark) , spray a clear lacquer over it (2 coats car varnish) , wet it slide it on to the rod then let it dry and varnish it with whipping varnish. Hope this helps W :)

  • Cool idea. Looks a little fast though. I go to thrift stores and buy barbecue rotisserie motors for my trailerpark setup

  • I had the same idea with the drill, I'm heading out to the garage as soon as it stops snowing to dig up my old electric drill. I can run it at a crawl speed without any extra gearing.

  • So how did the rod turn out in the end, nice to fish with?

    Im interested in how you made the graphics if you dont mind helping, cheers
