It really seems evil how the turbine-pushers want to scar so many truly green areas with white industrial skyscrapers.
If there's a place for wind turbines, it's as far out of sight (and sound-range) as possible. It really is a tragedy in the making if full-scale plans continue at the current pace all over the planet.
One 2009 Stanford study cited the need for 3.8 million turbines as part of a plan to replace fossil fuels. That would mean countless spoiled views. It's too high of a price.
