They are obviously saying "sweep". If you've ever been to a Bulldog game, you would realize that to this day students still do this (bring brooms and all that.) We've had 7 sweeps in a row in the past two months, and I would know, cause I go to every game. Gophs suck, Bulldogs are national champions, #1 in the NATION with 49 out of 50 first place votes, and on a 14 game unbeaten streak. I wouldn't exactly say we "suck"...

Wow, you are an idiot. I go to the U so I can say that from an unbiased point of view. They are chanting "sweep", and UMD wouldn't have scored if the U could have held the zone with the extra attacker. The U lost. Deal with it.

Meh, doesn't change the fact he sieved out all game. I'm pretty sure the goalie was Briggs. Besides, every team's fans sieve the goalie after an empty netter, it's hilarious!

Wow, thank you for proving how ignorant the average Gopher fan is. Way to make a stupid comment about something, then come back with, well...I wasn't even there so I didn't HEAR about it. Its obvious what a knowledgable college hockey fan you are. And yes, I know Duluth is usually terrible at hockey. The Gophs have the legacy and more recruiting power and SHOULD be better. That is the whole reason this particular season was awesome!
