  • Yeah good point..but for us blues players nothin beats a good vintage! Lots of character!

  • @TREVORJB101 True! But on the other hand today you can also find decent guitars at a relatively low price: I'm thinking to Cort instruments for example.... Sure, a Cort semihollow will never be as good as a 335, but I think that back in the days you wuold have got a much worse instrument for the same price.

  • @LolloSetti LOL Yes we are! My next guitar is a '62 Strat..the reason is because they don't make 'em like they usta! Back then they made guitars with quality craftsmanship, no matter what model you bought. Hand rolled edges and laquor, were a standard..These days plastic and poor wood make up a majority of guitars.

  • This isn't unplugged..this is a solo show

  • @lois8795 Dude, guitar players are strange cats: we'd pay more money for a beat up guitar from sixties than any regular guy would pay for a car

  • That's not very unplugged!

anyway...great musician. he's playing an outdoor show free here in New Orleans today at Lafayette Square.

  • knowing how old Tab is and when he started playing, I think that his guitar is probably an original 72 Thinline and not a reissue. Just like SRV's #1, Tab's guitar will be famous in it's own right one day. Hell, it kinda already is......so is Tab.

  • cool post but he is not unplugged

  • american fender f hole worth a lot more than a hundo!!! i would kill for that guitar

  • Not a crappy pawn shop guitar fellas, it's a vintage fender F hole electric, multiply that by about 50 and you might be close. Saw him last week at the Infinity Ball Room in a small town in CT. He was unbelievable!
