  • To those who disavow the bodily resurrection of Jesus. How many eye witnesses do you need? We Bible-believers have 552.

It’s easy to try marginalizing the resurrection with rhetoric. Dissing it helps in trying to ignore God. Many more learned than the doubters that have posted below here have chosen to examine the facts instead of simply mocking the idea that there just might be a supernatural God who is beyond their test tubes and logic. For example…see next two posts.

  • “I know of no fact in the history of mankind which is proven by better and fuller evidence of every sort to the understanding to the fair inquirer than the great sign which God has given us that Christ died and rose again.”

    Thomas Arnold

Chair of Modern History, Oxford University from "The History of Rome" (1842)

  • “I claim to be an historian. My approach to Classics is historical. And I tell you that the evidence for the life, the death, and the resurrection of Christ is better authenticated than most of the facts of ancient history . . .”

    E. M. Blaiklock

    Professor of Classics

    Auckland University

  • @torontoBluejays87 Who's beaten? I just simply choose to believe the Bible. You might too if you ever decided to examine the overwhelming corroboration of fulfilled Bible prophecy. It is tragic that so many have decided to accept the hypotheses of men instead of the wisdom of God - even though God's Word shouts its confirmation through fulfilled prophecy.

  • Sadder yet is how many who claim to be Christians have decided to align with theories, such as evolution, rather than with the Bible. So many do so for one reason - the want to accepted by men. Again, I choose God. Its an easy choice once you examine the evidence.

  • @JessaMesss I go where the evidence is when I want to talk about what we know about the cosmos and our place in it. Faith is the complete opposite of that. Your options may not be the only way the universe sprang into existence. In fact, there are many new theories coming out of theoretical physics that suggest that nothing doesn't actually exist but that particles are constantly springing into and out of existence. I am thinking for myself. You christians like to insult when you've been beaten.

  • @torontoBluejays87

you either believe in the beggging God which was for ever, or you beilieve in the begging matter and energy was forever, of you think there was nothing and magicaly it made all we see, non the less bothe sides takes faith to believe, personaly I dont have enough faith to beleive energy and matter are inttelegen enough to create such complexity with out some one inttelegent directing it, you should learn to think for your self

  • @JessaMesss Well the truth is, the most intelligent theoretical physicists have not a clue about what happened before the big bang. There is no conclusively proved theory to suggest that there was "nothing" before the big bang. If you think complexity like "God" just sort of sprang into being out of nothing, then no, you my friend are the nut. Don't give me the eternal argument either, it's getting dated. Why not save a step and say "why isn't the universe/multiverse eternal?" as Carl Sagan said

  • @torontoBluejays87

I would say if you think Matter and energy can form on their own or that you can have great complex design from exploshions then my dear you are the nut

  • @RUKEAL Well if you take a look down the comment section, you will see what I mean. Look at all the messages THAT LOOK LIKE THIS, read the content of said comments and I think you will see my point. If you think that Jesus was born of a virgin or resurrected from the dead, then I am sorry but you are a bit of a nut. Those things don't happen in our universe, and they never will.
