No amount of logic can persuade a fanatic. Could I return to France and claim the lands of my ancestors? I'd be laughed out of the country - or shot dead. It's nonsense to 'reclaim' lands that were occupied by a dubious chain of ancestors going back thousands of years. These fanatics will not rest until every Arab is dead.

Ok, let's use your logic.

Suppose some guy broke into your house and laid claim to it based on the fact that his grand grand grand grand parents lived in it 2-300 years ago (assuming your house is THAT old). Since then, they've been evicted by criminals and beaten up, robbed and raped...and then this random person (who hasn't really suffered - his ancestors did) shows up and says it's his house...would you just give it to him?!
