The assisted chair squat is a simple, yet effective exercise that works your legs and core with a primary focus on the gluteus maximus and quads. This is a great exercise for beginners. Squats can also be a great cardiovascular workout as well especially when done without using any additional weight. This simple exercise works almost every muscle in the body and is great for improving overall conditioning.
