  • are u guys married to each other cuz u guys sound like u like going to the movies together all the time maybe some tongue in the middle of the movie!!!

  • nope. not married. our relationship is strictly sexual.

  • i also really enjoyed the juxtaposition between the turkey dinner and the junkies. great review

  • thanks, man. yeah, that was a very interesting part..thanks for watching!

  • You guys like this alot yet didn't like sweeney todd or 300 much....

  • Neither of us liked 300, but I thought Sweeney Todd was a small pleasure. AG had a way better story than both of them, though.

  • definitely a good movie. i think it should be given the title of modern classic.

  • JD's reaction to you making fun of him for saying "pretty sweet" is hilarious.

  • It's a great film but it lacks the Training Day magic.

  • Why did u guys get kicked outta the mall?

  • going cold turkey means quitting something emidiatly not passing out bro

  • They should have had a picture of a junkie going cold turkey in that scene then the subtitle "cold turkey (bad)" then they shud have showed the thanksgiving turkey coming out of the oven at frank lucas's house then the subtitle "warm turkey (good)"

    That would have been subtle

  • I found this to be true as well until I saw the Extended Edition on the DVD. It fills in a lot of gaps that were missing in the original theatrical release.

    Good call though.

  • This movie was really strange in how it fell so flat, it had everything goin for it, but nothing worked, it always felt like scenes were cut out that were supposed to be there.

Everything it tried to do has been done much better. Ridley is usually great, but a total nerd when it comes to black culture.

It'll appeal to those who get pretentious about the ganster modern genre, but are clueless to film overall.

  • seen this film and yeah this movie was "pretty sweet" lmao!!! naa i thought this film was amazing best gangster film ive seen in a while really enjoyed it :D

  • lol, good response man, Lmfao! good review, really want to see it now! :)

  • Wtf hope ur bieng sarcastic

  • He did...he had no choice or it would be life...the police and frank are friendly to each other in real life, the police is now franks attorney. At least they were laughing with each other on the making of the movie. Frank is in a wheel chair now....but he is not doing that mainly because he will be watched for ever because of how clever he was in the wrong type of life style. Even now they tap is phone I am sure.
