@jeffersonnmoreiraaa: I'm not sure for this video, as it was done a while ago. The current "What's New in Ubuntu 11.04" (which went live at about the same time as your question) was done in PiTiVi. I believe Iain Farrell is intending to put the source code for that, to help with the translations/localisations. Is that useful?

@TheSmoothCriminal Yes, the video playing between 02:36—02:45 is the open movie project's Sintel. You can view, download or buy the whole short film and "making of…" (and get the source materials) at sintel.org ; Sintel was created using the Blender 3D software, which you can also find in the Ubuntu Software Centre by searching for "Blender".
