Freddie wasn't nearly as weird as one might think actually.....I just read a book about him. The overwhelming consensus is that he was the sweetest, nicest, most decent guy! And so down to Earth, humble, very loving, & extremely generous! That's what was the general feeling from everyone interviewed.

Another surprise was that he was so "normal" and nice, sensitive, shy, and just a really great guy. Oh, and very funny!!

@FREDDIEKINGOFQUEEN Very well said! I have read several books as well and would have to conclude the same. The only thing that contradicts all of that is the way he performed onstage, which is mainly because he gave the audience exactly what they wanted! Queen has stated for years that they never made money off of their shows because they put so much money into them!
