How to download Youtube videos using Firefox and Adblock Plus...

Using Firefox Adblock Plus plugin, you can get the url which downloads the mp4 file. You don't need to download any other standalone applications. You can get AdBlock Plus plugin for firefox here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

Add &fmt=18 for normal videos to download in mp4 and &fmt=22 for HD widescreen videos. If you want to download the video in FLV format, then skip this step.
You will need to wait till the video loads(on the video page) before the download window appears. You won't need to wait after that, the video will be instantly downloaded.


Adblock plus is a tool for disabling ads on webpages. Ive been using it for a long time and its really useful. Be sure to add filters for your country for maximum effectivity! https://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions
