If my school doesn't have porcelain, how would I throw? How soft should the clay be?

I attempted to teach a fellow classmate how to pull. it took me alot longer and i had to make up alot of words. you are a great teacher.

Hi there! Thanks for the videos, I really love them! I struggle with the "Doughnut" stage, the stage where I've opened up my piece, and about to make it taller with my hands, before I pull it up. I seem to get it off center really easily when I do it this way, and then when I pull it up, it's not consistent all the way around, because it was off centered. Thanks!

I love your videos. I now know the reasons why my pulling results in twisted and collapsed pieces! I still don't know how what to do about pulling at the top of the wall. I ease off on the pressure but then I have a fat lip! How do you fix that?
