Heitor Villa-Lobos: Choros No. 1

Me playing Choros No. 1 by Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959).

I make many mistakes and totally mess up a couple of phrases. But I play it through somehow and I'm happy with it.

Please be patient and give me some advice. I hope you enjoy.

Yes, it was challenging. I'd been practicing it over a month but I couldn't remove mistakes. So I decided to post this anyway and move on to a new song.

Nice job Tom. As far as advice, I find that it helps me to use a metronome and really slow down the more difficult passages so I can elminate all extraneous noise and smooth it out.

Thanks! Yes, I need to practice it with slow tempo so that I can eliminate extra noise. I guess it's high time to practice damping. I've never cared about cutting unwanted notes so far.
