I remember that concert in White City. I was watching from the stage. When Ray made the announcement, I wasn't too surprised. he looked so burned out! When I talked to him after the show, I told him I supported his decision to leave the band. He mumbled some comment about "once a musician, always a musician" and proceeded to ask me about how my life was going. I knew he'd be o.k.
