Ultra-dumb movie, folks. For Goodness sake - what's frightening about rocks?

The same people that dubb Japanese monster movies must have dubbed this one.

Thanks for uploading this clip. i've been trying to remember this movie for years. Saw it on "Creature Feature" in Miami in the 70s... And yes I agree..great MST3k or Rifftrax material!

I first saw this at age twelve, & although it was lacking in the typical "monsters" I loved it because of the unusual scifi twist of something so bizarre causing so much terror!

As a kid,I was bummed because there were no "monsters',just rocks. But as a grown-up I began to appreciate this "gem". Great story, and fun to watch on a rainy .lazy day.I finally have it on dvd,a real classic, they dont make em like this anymore.

"The Monolith Monsters" isn't really a bad movie, but I'm sure the MST3K gang could get a few choice zingers in. It's in roughly the same sub-genre as "The Blob," "The Magnetic Monster" and "Kronos," in that the menace is neither man nor beast, but a mindless thing that just keeps growing . . . and growing . . . and growing . . .

calling mst3k... calling mst3k...
Actually, this is a surprisingly effective SF thriller. There are some really great sequences, and the special effects are pretty cool.

I agree. Not an all-time classic, but definitely worth seeing.
