the words here are from a modern hymn, however the tune is actually a chant, so it is no wonder it sounds like one

This is a really lovely hymn, and one I've never heard before. At 1:45 where the men sing in unison with the reverberation is sounds like a Gregorian chant. Thank you for posting this.

This song touches on the joy of what it will be like to be one with Him eternally. It's His love for us...not our goodness...but His.
