  • This song really reaches the depths of my heart.

  • I just heard this on the Hymns and Favorites internet radio stream and tears just filled my eyes. I had forgotten about this hymn and I had forgotten how beautiful it is. such a comforting song!!

  • One of my favorite hymns! Altar of Praise does a great job singing it!

  • Psalm 124:7 We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped." Hosea 9:8b "snares await him on all his paths, and hostility in the house of his God." Proverbs 6:5 "Free yourself, like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler. Luke 9:60 "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God."

  • Pure worship.

  • the words here are from a modern hymn, however the tune is actually a chant, so it is no wonder it sounds like one

  • Excellent!

  • P.S., What a perfect video to capture the spirit of this tribute to God.

  • This is a really lovely hymn, and one I've never heard before. At 1:45 where the men sing in unison with the reverberation is sounds like a Gregorian chant. Thank you for posting this.

  • This song touches on the joy of what it will be like to be one with Him eternally. It's His love for us...not our goodness...but His.
