I recorded this Sunday afternoon while Camille was eating lunch. The episodes are still short but more often.

  • Our official diagnosis was mild tic. At first I was really worried because it seemed so strange but now a year later she very rarely does it. Good luck with your doctor appt.

  • This is a little late, but in case you still haven't found out anything both my sons do this. One is 8 and the other is 3. They are both on the autism spectrum. *I* think it has to do with sensory issues. They are common in autism. Haven't watched any of your other vids so not sure if she has a dx of autism spectrum.

  • @melcabral Autism was actually one of our first concerns. My niece is 11 and has severe classic autism, completely non-verbal. My older daughter has been diagnosed with sensory processing disorder. However, they aren't concerned with Camille because her speech is so advanced. She's stopped both eye symptoms and I've only seen it one time since when she had a fever.

  • hiya, i commented on your other video of ur little lady concerned over concern of my son. Did u get a diagnosis? Is she still doing it? My son is jus the same and the docs fink that he suffers with paroxsmal tonic upgaze, it is benign and tends to go away on its own after a while. The eeg turned up with nothing and with ptu they tend not show on the mri or eegs anyway. Hope shes doing ok, please let me no how she is gettin on if you get the chance.

  • She was originally diagnosed as just having tics. I wasn't completely satisfied with that answer so she just saw a new neurologist. She's scheduled for another EEG next week. The episodes have slowed down tremendously, althought they're still very scary when they happen. Goog luck with your son.

  • We have been to the doctor. They did an EEG and an MRI of the brain and they both came back normal. We are going to see a pediatric neurologist at a children's hospital in two weeks. The eye rolling just looks too strange to me to blow off without investigating further.

  • I know this vid is about her eye rolling tics, but all I have to say is your kid is totally adorable!

  • How did things go with the pediatric neurologist? Did you get a diagnosis? My almost 10 month old daughter does this same thing. She is scheduled for an EEG and and appt with the pediatric neurologist in about 10 days. Your daughter is adorable :)

  • you should check out something called absence seizures... its probably not, but its always better safe than sorry.

Do you notice that she cant remember what happens within the short time periods that this happens? because apparently thats one of the symptoms.

  • My daughter (17 months) does the exact same thing. Haven't been to the doctor yet since she just started it but will ask at next appointment.
