Even if we may not be able to help out those in Darfur directly, there are hundreds of causes you can join or donate to that will take the initiative to make sure those suffering from the genocide can get the help they need.

True Americans believe in giving back to its people and giving a hand up to those in need around the world. Americans are the few countries that has taken a pro-active roll in seeking out these troubled areas in the world today and bring peace, hope and tolerance to them. In response to tsukayomi2021. It's a good thing to help people in need whether they are your neighbors or clear across the ocean. Why not do both? As long as you are helping. Right?

As much as helping would be great, I think it's silly for America to go out and help other countries before it helps itself. I mean we need to to help the people and I'm sure it looks good for us, but meh
