this animation was made with a group of students from st.john neumann and maria goretti high school through a residency with the philadelphia museum of art. the animation explains the history of ice skating. the wooly mammoth wants a snow cone but is too clumsy to glide across the ice like the penguins. he knocks into the tree and down fall the icicles , onto his feet, across the ice he goes, hooray! snow cone! this animation won 3rd prize!

the music for this piece was originally made by lee ferguson for tiny circus. i pinched it.
