i'm a huge steel pier fan and this clip was AMAZING! It had me in tears at the end it was so theatrically beautiful!!! I only wish I could have seen Bill say "you still owe me a dance" and could have seen their dance. Amazing performance though!

Yeah.. I especially like the chilling ending sequence. You should have seen how it looked LIVE!! I had to edit-down the clip to "fit" the 10 minute limit restriction of youtube.

her voice is a bit shaky during the long notes at the end

That's it?? These "kids' are wearing the actual B'way costumes... there is a gorgeous fiber optic curtain... the ensemble executes an extremely difficult "backward-facing" circle with precision... the orchestra is magnificent... the lighting is dramatically wonderful... but she's shaky? Do you know this show - why Rita is all upset?

woah. no need to get all worked up. I am very familiar with this show (we are doing it right now) and while I find this to be a good clip, I'm not amazed because of "actual B'way costumes" or a "gorgeous fiber optic curtain". People care about the actual PERFORMANCE. No need to brag about the things you could afford for the show. It just makes you look like a show-off ass.
sorry.
Very good for high school, though.

"Worked up"?? My comment is FIVE months old. I can't remember what I had for breakfast no less what I wrote back then!
Who's "bragging" anyway. It just bothers me when someone makes a superficial, stupid comment about ONE minute aspect of a clip and totally ignores the "performance value" as a whole.
And what's this "afford" crack? Are you a bit sensitive [or jealous] of a big-budget show in a high school venue?
"Show-off ass"? - I don't attend this school!
