  • I was hoping for the Oud

  • @FuxUrselfImFull try joey by bob dylan true story

  • This is a perfect ballad by the master. Love it.

  • I love music with a story, and this one tells a story with an air of mysticism that makes it tragic and romantic all at the same time. This version is simply amazing.

  • Really good, but i prefer Townes Van Zandt.

  • This is one of the most beautiful things I've heard in a long, long time. I am simply enamored.

  • exactly, very impressive music ... thanks to Mr. Cohen!!

  • Matori objasnio si, ja sam ubeđen da si ti neuništiv !!!

    Viva la Cohen !!!

  • Amazing! I love the studio version too, but this is out of this world! Made the hairs on my neck and arms stand up.

It also makes me feel like I should get a gun and go fight against fascism. The third reich may have fallen, but today the fascists are growing within our borders all over Europe. Back then they wore uniforms and blamed the jews. Today they wear suits and blame the muslims, but they are still the same anti-democratic, anti-labour movement fascist scum as always!

  • This is really captivating, he just gets better with age.

  • holley SHIT this is THE shit

  • one person is a Nazi...

  • Excellent, thank you.

  • @marcellolamacchia his spanish leader of the band

  • Vrh!

  • Vive le Québec libre !

  • @marcellolamacchia The Anna Marly music is also from 1943. First aired by the french BBC in 1943, this song was very popular in France after the war (many artits sing it during the 50's). Leonard adapted the song in 1969.

  • Грандиозно!

  • Masterpiece!

  • "Complainte du Partisan"

Emmanuel d'Astier de la Vigerie (1943)

    musique: Anna Marly (1969)

  • Who gives a shit who wrote it. Its a great song!
