  • i'm a Cadet with Rhayader Division and our Divisional officer in charge got Rhayader Citizen of the year for all the work he did for the community through St John duing the harsh winter. He used the 4X4 and snow plough to clear the minor roads whilst responding to 999 calls in the area. I am so happy to be a member of a Great organisation. Our 4x4 is the only 4X4 belonging to SJA wales with a snow plough attachment. we also have two transits.

  • @MrIanhurll thats different lol a 4x4 ambu with a snowplough, are there any pics that exist of it cause i would quite love to see that lol

  • @tevwadle yes their are some on the st john wales website and there are also some on the St John Ambulance in wales facebook site aswell.

  • @MrIanhurll ah mate they are mint lol its a landy rover aint it, 110 long wheelbase?

  • @tevwadle land rover 110 long wheel base is correct. bought in 1998 and is being repalced at the end of the year with a 130 long wheel base and we are still having the snow plough. our current one will then be sold on to a quieter division. ours is always busy with moto x events and first responder so it is essential to have an up to date vehicle.

  • @MrIanhurll coooool, i do like land rover ambulances they just fit the role so well lol. Well best of luck selling the 110 and aquiring the 130, i just cant get over how mint it looks with the plough on lol keep up the sterling work.

  • To those who have posted comments, thank you very much its nice to know that i made a decent vid lol. SJA is a very important part of my life without them some of the incidents i have dealt with in the past could have come out differently but i was an SJA member and they went ok, if everybody knew 1st aid it would save lots of lives thanks to the work of SJA there are millions of people alive today, long may we reign, GO ST JOHN AMBULANCE!!!!!!!!!!

  • brilliant video, im going to say what everyone else is saying, makes me proud to be a member of St John Ambulance.

  • Most of the decent St John members are pro nurses and paramedics...a lot of members mean well but are glory seekers with sad lives..in my opnion!

  • dominic from kendal division awesome video

  • im a cadet in the St John Ambulance of Malta and I am very proud to be a member of such a great organisation!!

  • @tevwadle thank you, there will probally be photos of it on st john wales website towards february 2012. we will try to keep up the work.

  • just to add another comment, the other week i attended the scene of an accident involving a motorcyclist and administered 1st aid, he was injured very badly and had to be taken to hospital by helicopter, unfortunatly due to the injuries sustained were too severe and he died that night, i would again like to say that without st john training his chances of living would have been alot less than what they were but thats the way things panned out i am afraid. R.I.P buddy.
