1968 Chevelle 300 Deluxe Burnout!!! 327 L-79

This is another video of my 1968 Chevelle 300 Deluxe doing a holeshot this time we get a got second gear which is excellent just to refresh your memory she has an (L-79)327 325h.p engine with a 4 speed transmission, with a 12 bolt posi 4.11 gear rear end she runs excellent in these videos we had a quadrajet 650 carburetor then after we put a practically new quadrajet 750 on it and believe me she runs a lot better now i need new videos to see how she runs with the new carb

@GerryK61 darn shittin haha shes getting rebuilt now its gonna range from 400-425h.p with 11.1 compression and a big ass cam at that haha back with a borg warner super t-10 tranny and a zoom high performance racing clutch with a 12 bolt 4.10s i think shes a gonna run good haha

Just so you know, they never made a 650 CFM Q-jet. They were 750 or 800 CFM.

@purpleroses00 thanks for the info...i put an edlebrock 750 manual choke on it actually idles in the mornings with out sitting there for 5 minutes to warm it up lol

i got a nasty 327. going back in my 80 chevy short box. not quite done but its gonna dyno at 500 hp peak give or take 10 hp and about 400 tq.
