Ahh, the 1970's; after the turbulent and traumatic era of the 1960's: Vietnam, riots, racial problems, etc, people worldwide decided to get into the environment, the great oudoors, and as we see here - sugar, spice, and all things nice!

It's amazing how health and safety did'nt feature in our lives in those far off days of the 70's, did you notice the lack of safety fencing around the swing boats in this clip, they would have a field day today.

I wish the BBC could delve into their archives and re-release some of these old shows. They've done enough dreadful comedies of the 70s so a few discs of these with the gloriously random guest lists would be much appreciated!

yeh they should bring Seaside Special back instead of all these dreadful 'celebrity choirs shagging on ice' shows.... I find it very hard to criticise ABBA - but what awful miming this is - dreadful.
