I have no idea if someone has already cleared this out, but the Finnish name for Santa Clause is Joulupukki. Which in turn, translated literally, is "Yuletide Ram". That's why Santa had horns in this film.

In the days of old the Finns "believed" that "Santa" was, in truth, a ram who dragged a sleigh of presents to the household. That's why we call him "the christmas goat/ram", and not St. Nicholas, since old Nicky was a human and a completely different guy, yet they have molded into one.
