5alpha makes excellent points. This Senator should as matter of high principle, renounce his right to government funded health care and use his own dollars to get hralthcare for him and his family.
When he introduces those bills. think how pleased the voters in his state will be.
They will let him know immediaitely how much they like this idea.

If you're serious about not liking government health care then introduce legislation to abolish Medicare, Medicaid the VA, Indian Health Services, and SCHIP. You should also give up your own government regulated and government subsidized health insurance and go buy your own on the individual market if you're so sure that government health care us bad. If you don't then you're nothing more than a hypocrite and a demagogue.

To truly lower the cost of health care the 1st step must be to get a grip on the Drug Companies. By their advertising all they do is over inflate the cost of health care. .
The drug companies own this country, just try to get your congressman or senator to publicly support this issue , HAH!
We do not need to continuously, OVER & OVER & OVER & OVER, etc, see them on television. We do not need to, AND DON'T WANT to see their new hot rod drugs and what dysfunction they are supposed to heal.
