Californian's come to their senses? Don't count on it. Most of the folks that had a lick of sense left that place a long time ago.

The combined power unit foot print is ludicrous and a poor use of land for a power unit(s). The same can be said for solar power. When you add up the energy going into producing, transporting, erecting, and operating/maintaining them, including disposing of them eventually, it may be a no win(d) situation.

Government at it's finest. There is NOTHING clean or renewable about windmills. For any potential megawatt of energy a windmill is suppose to produce you have to have equal or greater standby generators running (coal, oil, gas, hydro) to take up what these bird killers don't produce. Hopefully all of California sees these monuments to government stupidity and comes to their senses.
