Actually, I was on the bay when I was 4 years old. I wasn't in this movie but I can remember ice skaters using flares out in the distance. My mother would not let go of me while I was on the ice. I still remember my older brother falling through the ice next to this dock in the video. He thought he was jumping on a log covered with snow. It wasn't there in the water. So he fell through. It was one of the reasons I remember the experience.

@DianneRawGirl color was in film back then, actually there is color film of WW2, that was not re-edited but was color at that time. Fact.

How did color appear ....Color WAS NOT in films back then.Was it restored by someone?

It's color film. Color film existed well before 1950.
