The Blind Childrens Centers mission is to optimize each childs development by providing a special education/vision program within a fully inclusive multi-disciplinary model for young children and their families so that they may lead independent and productive lives. The Centers mission is also to use its expertise and experience to serve families and professionals worldwide through support services, educational publications, and research support.

  • I'm a 20 year alumni of this wonderful instituion and in those i've had up's and down's through public school being ridiculed for my disability but it never stopped and it never let me forget where i came from i plan on volunteering and visited the center yesterday and just was greeted with so much positive emotion wandering those halls reminiscing and just watching all those vivid memories flood me made me smile watching fernanda after so many years keep an old pair of my shoes as a keepsake t

  • Thank you for this video, there is a lot of information available on common disabilities however there is not enough educational videos on low incidence disabilities. It is so important that we educate our communities on children with vision and hearing disabilities. These children have such an enormous hurdle to jump; yet they are often overlooked for all their accomplishments. Great job!
