  • @Hissanrach The man who cut off his fingers worked in one of the shops were inmates needed axes to do their work. They were watched closely but this guy pulled it off. He may have doen it to earn a transfer to the medical facility in MO. He was an extremly unpopular inmate in fear of his life. He had been a shotgun trustee in the Arkansas State prison system before coming to Alcatraz and had shot inmates. The Alcatraz inmates knew this and hated him for it.

  • @C3P0meetsData Good to see a voice of reason. I've worked on Alcatraz since 2003. Inmates were not tortured and were actually treated with a degree of respect. Nobody ever died on the island because of the conditions. Inmates were well-fed - they had the best food of any U.S. prison in fact. Suicides were slightly less than other prisons. Sexual assaults were rare. And I've spent the night many times in D-Block (solitary/the "hole") without any problems.

  • @TheCreepdawgg1 tupzcs been dead a long timephukhead

  • @Amorphustruth just in case... it is Santa Klaus, not "father christmas" ... :X

  • OMG CPOmeetsdata's post below....."Torture is illegal on US soil"....LOL this idiot is so adorable. What are you like12 years old...don't tell me they still believe in father christmas too!

  • They should make one about Tupac ^^ people say he's still alive.

  • @Hissanrach I'm glad to see a voice of reason in these crazy comments here. I toured Alcatraz at night last October, and yeah, it was creepy, but that's because it's an old decommissioned prison, not because there are ghosts! I didn't like how they didn't describe in this video that the federal government shut it down because two men had escaped and because they didn't have enough funds to keep it running. There was no torture Torture is illegal on US soil. Like you said, it was bad but not hell

  • @4freespeech PAPILLON!

  • @ColdingoVich Only one I can think of is "Devil's Island"

down in French Guyana. It's the one they made that

movie about starring Dustin Hoffman & Steve McQueen.

What was the name of it? Help me somebody, its hell

to get "CRS", (Can't Remember Sh*t).
