The Froblins demo running on a Radeon 4850 uses DX10.1's global illumination, HDR, lighting and post-processing along with tessellation for frogs-goblins and terrain. The demo shows hundreds of froblins moving around and avoiding each other with dynamic tesselation, LOD, and collision detection calculated on the GPU.

  • if you have dx10.1 remove the 0 and the dot then you'll have dx11, hope that works for anyone who doesn't know much about computers and stuff ;P

  • no but when you install direct x 11 and play a directx 10 game it wil use most stuff that 10 got but not the new 11 stuff

  • Windows 7 is released with DX11

  • Hey, will windows 7 be able to play direct x 10.1 soon? cause I have it and when i try to install ping ball it says i need vista...i upgraded from windows vista ultimate 64 bit now i have windows 7 evaluation copy. thanks!

  • It comes with vista and windows 7. And no you can't run it on XP.

  • It's true. I always experienced trouble and lagg under vista, but with windows 7, everthing goes bloody smoothy.

  • ye but it just crashes, same with the ping pong demo

  • Do you have DX10.1?

  • or Windows 7, which is heck of a lot better than vista.

  • ahhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    thanks for the laugh
