hi there, I got a big question with a presure washer. im about to buy the presure washer the cat pump from homedepot i have a farmer that is surrended by the guarapiche river......the question is if with any pressure washer can i take the water from the river without using a Pump?. just the pressure washer a 50ft hose that goes into the river that´s it. will the pressure washer work? or do i have to buy something else to make it work?

@tudinerito IT SHOULD WORK , But you will need to use some type of filter to make sure nothing is pulled in to the pressure washer from the river, like dirt, plant life, or fish,, those things would clog the pressure washer pump.Good Luck

@tudinerito hi, i am a professional power washing contractor and no, it will not work. these pumps are for adding pressure not sucking water, plus if you get dirt and mold into your pump, you bet it will mess up in seconds.

I would not recomend putting your pressure washer on it's side how it's shown. The oil will work it's way into the carbeurator and air cleaner creating a lot problems. In the instance this has happened than leave it set upright for a day or two and clean the air cleaner as best you can. Put the machine on a bench and remove the pump from the bottom, than perform the necessary repairs.

I have a very similar husky 2600 pressure washer. I think the motor and pump are identical in fact.  Where did you get the rebuild kit? Your video shows what I need to do, but I can't find the parts. I am guessing that the exploded parts diagram came with the rebuild kit? Anyway, thanks for a helpful video.
